Teaching

As an educator, I implement a teaching philosophy that is heavily based on fundamentals and ear training. Most of the exercises I use come from my teachers, and focus on articulation, flexibility, and sound. I believe air is the key to all of this, and spend a great deal of time in my lessons making sure each student is approaching the instrument in a relaxed, efficient manner. While most of my materials are borrowed from my teachers and their teachers before them, I have adapted some of these materials for my own purposes. Below are a few examples of my own exercises I have created for myself and my students.
